Sound quality
A good recording which suffers some big hall echo and distance to stage. The overall emphasis of sound being toward the top end. Certainly one of the best ones from this US leg. Sex Mad War was always played, probably edited out between Rock the Casbah and Armagideon Time where there is a gap. White Riot is cut half way through.

The Des Moines Civic Center is a 2,744-seat performing arts center belonging to Des Moines Performing Arts located in Des Moines, Iowa. With a seating capacity of 2,744, it is designed to provide an intimate experience, as no seat is more than 145 feet from the stage 13. It has been Iowa's largest theater since it opened on June 10, 1979.
It is operated by Des Moines Performing Arts and has been a key venue for a variety of performances since its opening in June 1979 1, 5, 13. The Civic Center is known for its excellent acoustics and is the performance home of the Des Moines Symphony 5. It was the site of the 1984 Democratic presidential debate 3, 15.
The Civic Center is part of the Civic Center Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and includes several other significant buildings and structures 2. It is also a part of the Des Moines Performing Arts, which is a non-profit organization with a mission to engage the Midwest in world-class entertainment, education, and cultural activities 6.
