Simon Prodhan - Sadly only once at Blackburn king Georges hall in 84 after micks departure on the out of control tour, I was too young for their 77/78 heyday, 12 in the punk summer of 77 but I did buy the records and thought I was a punk! Brenda Siegelman - Philadelphia, Walnut Street Theatre , Sept. 1979 , then ... Maryland Post Pavillion , Texas to California and the Pacific NW ( take the 5th tour ) . I joined the 16 tons tour in Hastings , Jan. 1980 , and that was about a year , UK , US & Europe .. Bonds in 1981 , then the studio months , I left them in May 1982 but went to Asbury Park and a few more after that . Dave Hunt - Saw them 4 times one of them was top rank Sheffield 16 tons did you see Joe punch mick Brenda Brenda Siegelman - yep. the aftermath of that too. Darran Slator - Brenda Siegelman - what happened? Brenda Siegelman - Mick and Joe disagreed about playing White Riot . Mick didn't want to play it . They did the song for an encore I do not know what Mick said to Joe , but Joe hit him.. They made up by the next day .Mick had no serious injuries . Brenda Siegelman - the aftermath was leaving the 2 alone so they could work out their problems while the rest of us wondered if the band just broke up Ratoblanco Mezzetti - Brenda Siegelman - is it correct to say that Bonds Nights they sucked the 90% of band's energies? Ratoblanco Mezzetti - Is it Bonds the end of the cycle...from westway to the world? Brenda Siegelman - Bonds was brutally hot . The dressing room had no air conditioning either, no catered meal after sound check like the usual gig . It was too hot to eat there anyway . Physically , it took a toll . They were dehydrated . Mick had to take glucose tablets , I do not think anyone ate or slept well . Brenda Siegelman - The Mogador , Paris residency was after Bonds, and the Brixton fair deal gig , I think the begining of the end was more when Joe went missing on the eve of the UK tour , May 1982. After that , sacking Topper broke the unity and cohesiveness . Ratoblanco Mezzetti - Do you think they have a strong vision of their musical direction like in 1976,or 1979..in 1981? Brenda Siegelman - They were brimming with ideas and creativity all through 1981 . They drew on influences of everything they heard , everywhere so , maybe it was a wider , less focused vision . Ratoblanco Mezzetti - I'm sure that joe was musical stimulate by playing with Mick and Topper than Young musician that he felt was under him Ratoblanco Mezzetti - how is it possible that a great brain like Bernie undestimated these kind of human dinamics??? Jeff Lindholm - Brenda Siegelman - , yep, I remember the crazy heat at Bonds. My friend Rudie and I were right up front against the stage by Joe's mike stand on Saturday afternoon. Rudie was in front of me and said he could feel the sweat flying off Joe. Oddly enough, he seems to have enjoyed that! Edited Brenda Siegelman - Bernie did not care about them as people . He thought aggravation and conflict made them a better band . He knew how to work on rubbing salt into wounds . Brenda Siegelman - Jeff Lindholm - as long as they were still sweating , they were hydrated , when they ran out of sweat , it was trouble . Jeff Lindholm - We didn't notice any drops of blood that afternoon, but they looked beat at the end. Ratoblanco Mezzetti - Brenda Siegelman - but he works for the end of the musical conflicté. Ratoblanco Mezzetti - all this dinamics are the same in all the bands. All the band are agains the manager and here you can find unity Ratoblanco Mezzetti - all the members are in conflict Ratoblanco Mezzetti - management have to live in this kind of artistic balance Brenda Siegelman - no , Ratoblanco , in my opinion ,Bernie was cruel and he because helped form the band , and thought he had the right to do anything he wanted , including destroying them Brenda Siegelman - and The Clash were no ordinary band . Ratoblanco Mezzetti - Brenda Siegelman - joe told me " he wants to be mick jones" Brenda Siegelman - too bad for him , RM , he hasn't Mick's talent , humor or sweet soul . Ratoblanco Mezzetti - thanks for your answers and passion El Marko Ecaen - Chicago Aragon Ballroom 1979, 1982 & 1984 Tuija Hart - first time Ruisrock in Finland 1979 (and the fuckers have used my pic without a credit!)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PwZXyX31M - YOUTUBE.COM The Clash Ruisrock Festival (Turku, Finland), 19790804 VIDEO CLIPé The Clash Ruisrock Festival (Turku, Finland), 19790804 VIDEO CLIP *LIVE* - Tuija Hart - Next time wasn't until 1984 at Brixton Academy, two nights in a row. Simon Flower - Friars Aylesbury 5 Jan 1980 was my first. 1ears old and first night of the 16 Tons UK Tour. One burned in the memory forever. Simonon in the audience in the upstairs balcony (got photos somewhere), Jones guesting on Sweet Gene Vincent with the unbilled and late replacement for Toots & the Maytals - Ian Dury & The Blockheads. it was a memorable night even before The Clash came on. When they did it was in technicolour and at a hundred miles an hour. I can still see the bright coloured shirts...Red Yellow Blue. Amazing night. After that... 3 (or maybe 4) nights at Lyceum 7 night residency on Radio Clash Tour October 81 Brixton twice and Stoke Mandeville on the Casbah Club Tour 82 Brixton 83 & then again in 84 (without Mick so, much like Cut The Crap, shouldn't really count ) Plus B.A.D twice, Carbon Silicon once @ Barfly Camden and Joe & The Mescaleros @ London Astoria Simon Flower - The Clash Aylesbury Friars Jan 5 1980 - knew I had ‘em somewhere Klaus Barmbek - Saw them 1977 in Hamburg ,my first concert ever...than again 1980 in Hamburg Ratoblanco Mezzetti - The famous gig in hamburg Danny Griffiths - Guildford, Victoria Park, Portsmouth and Crawley. After the last show me and my mate Tony Ennis were having a sleep at Gatwick airport when I was lifted by the old bill. In the end Joe and the boys met Tony, heard what happened and came and got me out. Cool David Smith - At The Lyceum December 78 with The Slits supporting. So it was all stuff from the first two albums plus the early run of brilliant singles. Still one of the best and most powerful gigs I've ever seen. Simon Loric Harwood - I was there and couldn't agree more Sean Conway - Swindon (White Riot your), Victoria Park, Harlesden & Lewisham ( all 77-80) Graham Watson - The Glasgow Barrowlands Feb 1984 ,,what an explosive show ,,, anyone fancy an anti Mick Jones fight Strummer asks the crowd before bursting into We Are The Clash Jonathan Brown - We saw The Clash regularly on a Sunday evening at The Lyceum, London and Victoria Park. Geoff Kelly - Arthur scargills Xmas party..Brixton academy.. John Gaston - good choice was at both nights , great gigs Brenda Siegelman - Philadelphia, Walnut Street Theatre , Sept. 1979 , then ... Maryland Post Pavillion , Texas to California and the Pacific NW ( take the 5th tour ) .I joined the 16 tons tour in Hastings , Jan. 1980 , and that was about a year , UK , US & Europe .. Bonds in 1981 , then the studio months , I left them in May 1982 - but went to Asbury Park and a few more after that . Dave Hunt - Saw them 4 times one of them was top rank Sheffield 16 tons did you see Joe punch mick Brenda Brenda Siegelman - Mick and Joe disagreed about playing White Riot . Mick didn't want to play it . They did the song for an encore I do not know what Mick said to Joe , but Joe hit him. They made up by the next day .Mick had no serious injuries . the aftermath was leaving the 2 alone so they could work out their problems - while the rest of us wondered if the band just broke up - Bonds was brutally hot . The dressing room had no air conditioning either, no catered meal after sound check like the usual gig . It was too hot to eat there anyway . Physically , it took a toll . They were dehydrated . Mick had to take glucose tablets , I do not think anyone ate or slept well . The Mogador , Paris residency was after Bonds, and the Brixton fair deal gig , I think the begining of the end was more when Joe went missing on the eve of the UK tour , May 1982. After that , sacking Topper broke the unity and cohesiveness . They were brimming with ideas and creativity all through 1981 . They drew on influences of everything they heard , everywhere so , maybe it was a wider , less focused vision . Brenda Siegelman - I remember the crazy heat at Bonds. My friend Rudie and I were right up front against the stage by Joe's mike stand on Saturday afternoon. Rudie was in front of me and said he could feel the sweat flying off Joe. Oddly enough, he seems to have enjoyed that! - Bernie did not care about them as people . He thought aggravation and conflict made them a better band . He knew how to work on rubbing salt into wounds . Tony Gaughan - Many times 78,79,80,81 Glasgow Apollo and Edinburgh laterally 81 i think playhouse - Also chased Paul and Joe all over G-town in 1985 on the busking tour Fixx Rock Garden - met em with fake passes on the tour for LC featuring Dread ,those were the days! Brendan Kelleher - 1st Middlesbrough town hall 1978 then about another 10 times after that! Brian Akinston - 2nd night of the 2 days they played the City Hall Newcastle July 82 ? They were good and I'm glad I saw them but I'd missed their peak by a long way I reckon.... Michael Davies - July 82 top of their game for me Seb Curtis - I wasn't fortunate enough to see the clash live but I did see Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros at London Docklands arena when they supported The Who in 2000 Terry Tong - Should have been the other way around, the 2000 Who supporting Joe and his buddies. Susan Archer - Joe Strummer busking in Nottingham after Clash split. ..83/84 maybe Rich Wilson - Bonds (Casino international,) NY, Pier - NY, Shea Stadium (with The Who) - NY. Missed the Hofstra (Long Island NY) show though. Spizz Energi - Barbarellas Birmingham July 1977 Freddie Lyttle - 12th March 1984 in the Ulster Hall Belfast on the out of control tour. This was the cut the crap version of the Clash minus Mick Jones the one and only time I ever saw them. Paul Foster - Me to fred Horace Panter - Spent 3 weeks opening for The Clash in 1978. It was The Specials rock'n'roll boot camp. We started the tour as civilians...... Michael Davies - Top man Horace, I saw Specials last November at Wolves Civic. Best gig of the year the place was rocking Mark Carter - Yeah I saw you opening for them at the Musc Macine. Great gig. Andy White - Yep! I saw you supporting them at Manchester Apollo in '78, Horace. Iain Mcintosh - Glasgow Apollo 81 i think with Theatre of Hate might have been Radio Clash tour Mark Carter - I went to great lengths to explain to anyone at the time the reason I went to so many Clash gigs was because they weren't merely nights out but events and you would spend the evening in the company of four like minded individuals who irrespective of them playing more or less the same set every night would put that extra spin on each show. I have and still do when meeting someone for the first time use a liking of the Clash music live or recorded as a great leveller to determine whether we will become friends or merely acquaintances. Roddy Byers - 100 Club supporting the Sex Pistols 1976 Dave Whittaker - Anarchy Tour, Leeds Poly, Dec 76, my first encounter with the Clash Roddy Byers - My mate Roadent had moved down to London from Coventry and told me too come down n check out the s Pistols n the Clash as they dressed like me and had the same influences. I wanted to move to London too join a like minded band but stayed in Coventry a… See more Mark Carter - Every gig in London from 77 to the end all nights at each venue they played. Stand out was the secret gigs at Notre Dame Hall. Andy Exall - July 82 at the Brighton Centre, Combat Rock Tour. Turned up 5 hour's early I was so excited Had the tour t shirt and ticket for ages but both lost over time - so gutted. Great gig, massive crowd that went nuts when they came on but I found a review on Google that said they were a little less energetic that day - I can remember sweat literally running from Joes elbow all night. If that was low energy i don't know what's high. I wish more than anything I'd seen them much more, but I did once. David Backhouse - Leeds queens hall Leeds United Manchester apollo Bridlington Brixton academy that's Leeds University not United Chrissie Rose - i was paul sinomons girlfriend Leo Mcphillips - your all lucky people had tickets for the apollo in glasgow in 1977 bouncers chased us to young we were only in 1st year im sure the tickets were £2 got them from the record shop in union street it was on 2 levels i think it was called revolver ? Pete Smith - 3 x nights in a row at Brixton Academy and many other times. I even got on stage with Joe Strummer to get thrown out in the crowd. Good times were had!!!! - Andy Keegan - June 16 1980 Hammersmith pallais. Travelled into town in adult clothes for a 1ear old still at school and enjoyed 4 pints of trumans dark brown bitter. Clash city rockers was the first number followed by brand new Cadillac.. Great day of my life. James Strummer - Victoria Park (free concert)...in 78 I think, Rainbow, Lyceum various dates and electric ballroom I think in 79 with Joe Ely band as support....when I sang with strummer on stage ...still homes me up thinking about it Keyffo Sam Baggins - Was on the RAR March from Trafalgar Square through Brick Lane with 4 coaches worth of Chelmsford Punks. Robert Harrison - Leeds Queens Hall and Uni Refec 3 times, London Lyceum and Manchester Apollo Ed Parkinson - Middlesbrough Town Hall and Leeds United a few years later. Missed the busking tour at The Hyde Park pub in Leeds because I was in bed with a hangover about 200 yards away. Tony Smallwood - Mayfair 1980 , Academy Brixton 1984...returned ticket in 1982 as Strummer was a prat. Tony Smallwood - As Dave said ...one of the more admirable features of the " only band that mattered " was Strummer , his outlook and credibility and integrity .....so taking the advice of The returning manager Bernie to do a runner to boost ticket sales was frankly ludicrous and pathetic at best ...at worst well hypocritical springs to mind.....82 was probably for me the beginning of the end ...London Calling and its tour again only my opinion the absolute high watermark and that gig at the Mayfair up there with best I ever saw Cheryl Norey - I was at the miners strike gig at brixton in 84 no topper there but still enjoyed it. Was also at the Vicky park gig in 78. That was brilliant but pink was really fresh and new then!! Tuija Hart - Oh yeah, I did see Joe Strummer at Hultsfred festival in Sweden, can't remember if it was with the Mescaleros (I think it was). He invited loads of people backstage, got some great photos of him there and remember Ebbot from Union Carbide Productions (later in The Soundtrack Of Our Lives) was really drunk in the corner... Gavin Martin - Belfast october 77 i saw em, was with em in the hotel when they came and didnt play the ulster hall my first ever interview with anyone, unprepared . they returned in early 78 played mcmordie hall i fainted, momentarily, but interviewed joe after then … See more Tuija Hart - 1979 in Finland at Ruisrock festival, Brixton Academy in London twice, around '85, with no Paul nor Mick left in the band. Andrew Strayler - I saw every London show from April 1978 until I left the UK in Nov 1980....except the Xmas and Boxing day shows at Acklam Hall AND I only went to 1 of the 2 shows at Notre Dame Hall in the summer of 1979. We went to Rehearsal Rehearsals in summer of 1978 and we're allowed to stay for about 1/2 hr before being told it's best we leave now. Went back later in the year and was told to fuck off they don't practice here anymore. Saw them once in Vancouver and once in Seattle in 1982.....and then once in Seattle and once in Vancouver in 1984. I ended up with zero O levels in the UK because I ran away from home so much to see bands......but I had the TIME OF MY LIFE.. James Ivan Meadows - Not jealous at all ... Neil Coombes - Busking outside Leeds University 1986 - has a piss next to Strummer in a local pub! Dave Whittaker - There used to be an all night cafe just down the road from Leeds Uni, and, after an early gig in Leeds, the band called in for food etc, and, I read later in Sounds, how, whilst in there, they heard themselves on the juke box for the very first time. T… See More ... It's bugging me what the cafe was called. Terry's Allstars or something like that Neil Coombes - The Faversham is where they had a leak - played a few songs in the car park too Neil Coombes - Sorry can't help with the cafe Dave Whittaker- didn't know Leeds had an all night cafe in those days Dave Whittaker - There were a couple, the one I mentioned which was behind the old Coburg pub, and the Rendezvous in Chapeltown, same time as the Yorkshire Ripper was doing his rounds Howard Young - 5 times at Glasgow Apollo. Got backstage to meet them when I helped Suicide get their equipment in. Joe gave me 4 cans of Tennents. Happy days. Sam Butler - August 82 Bristol. Little did anyone there, well in the crowd any how, that it would be Micks last gig in the UK with The Clash! Mork Orson - Swansea 16th May 77 with Subway Sect.... and 9th July 78 with Suicide and Coventry Specials... lucky enough to meet them backstage afterwards too. Bill Clarke - One day I'll sit down and do an accurate count. 77 first. Guidford Cambridge dunsttable St. Albans hemel lyceum ham pal music machine rainbow - lost count but never a bad night out Eddie Trilhe - I saw them 3 1/2 times. Twice at Bond International Disco Casino, Once opening up for the Who at Shea stadium and the half time was after the boys played Saturday night live. I went to see Billy Idol at the "Brooklyn Zoo" and the opening band (I don't remember who) went on around 11pm and it wasn't until after 1am when Billy went on. Apparently he was at SNL and brought Joe, Mike, and Paul with him. They took over as his back up band towards the middle of the set. Topper wasn't there, he was probally nodding off somewhere. It was worth the wait. Noy Swindon - Mayfair Newcastle 1980. I was 18 so felt I bit passed it really. I'd been a punk for two years and was thinking it was all over but The Clash that night restored my faith. Probably the best band I've ever seen. Dave Wakeling - US combat rock tour, as support band, best job ever! x Keyffo Sam Baggins - Porsmouth Guildhall rather than The Locarno or The Polytechnic S.U. St.Pauls rd Drill Hall I think because I was there during the Punk years I can't really remember a bit like the 6Tease Simon Wadsworth - From 77 onwards when they performed in Manchester and surrounding areas like Blackburn. Also saw them in Portsmouth once. They were the greatest Rock n roll live band ever. I know you will have seen videos but it doesn't do them credit. Keyffo Sam Baggins - Portsmouth Locarno added to London Calling Tour as a favour to Pompey Punks. Someone posted below they played The Portsmouth Guildhall in the big square on Commercial Rd but I had been posted to the R.E.M.E. in London in Oct 1983 so may have missed a later final gig. Andrew Brosnan - Out of control tour at Bristol colston hall 83 bloody brilliant amazing fantastic outstanding performance by THIS legendary band. What more could I say suberb Kevin Jackson - Bury st Edmunds and Hammersmith Dave Whittaker - Was in the Nutshell in B St E a couple of years ago, the place is only big enough to fit the band members in, never mind any kit or fans -) Kevin Jackson - Lol no was corn exchange i helped then set up gear ect Theresa Medico - 1982-los Angeles Calif/collesium. Cape cod mass and us festival San Bernardino mountains. I am so lucky I was able to see them Ken Karlock - Sadly, my only opportunity was on the Cut the Crap tour. Saw them at Public Hall in Cleveland, Ohio USA. Mork Orson - Swansea Uni May '77, then July '78 in Bristol. Simon Prodhan - Sadly only once at Blackburn king Georges hall in 84 after micks departure on the out of control tour, I was too young for their 77/78 heyday, 12 in the punk summer of 77 but I did buy the records and thought I was a punk! Tuija Hart - Next time wasn't until 1984 at Brixton Academy, two nights in a row. Went there with my kid sister, the first night I concentrated on photographing, the second on moshing. I lost my glasses in the mosh pit, the pit backed, I saw them glistening, ran a… See more John Gaston - Lewisham Odeon, think 79, Brixton fair deal x 2 in July 82, Brighton centre July 82, Brixton academy March 84 3 times, Brixton academy December 84 twice Mike McGines - Red rocks and folsom field in colorado and at the bond in new york. Folsom field they opened for the who and blew them offstage. Wayne Bean - London Lyceum October 21st 1981 & Brixton March 84 David William Rosie - Inverness Ice Rink. 24th July 1982. Supported by the brilliant APB (whose lead singer spat at me because the guy in front of me spat at him, and presumably he believed me to be the spitter), and Sid Ozalid ....... or whatever his name was. Jason A Dormer - where they not also supported by Ron Cullen? Ron Cullen - famously got chucked out, due to a misheard remark made to a security chap!! Peter Sen - The Locarno in Portsmouth 76 then god knows how many times after though I did miss the top rank in Southampton but I did see them in London either just before or just after the Lyceum springs to mind but I could be wrong as I've had a drink or few since then Lee Williams - Four times Manchester 16 tons onwards Paul Worlock - Crikey everyone's got good memories. I know I saw them 4 times but what year it was and when I can't remember. I'm guessing I went to the Lyceum and maybe the Electric Ballroom in Camden. Gotta be late 70's Jeff Slate - Saw them many times, fortunately. First was best: Bonds. Ian Chapman - Cardiff Top Rank twice and Sophia gardens. Stuart Fletcher - Yes, Whirlwind were. The lead singer was later in Havana 3am with Paul. Anti Pasti reformed around ears ago originally with Martin Roper singing but now with Glynn Barber from Chron Gen at the helm. They have some great new material. Robert Harrison - I liked the old Assembly Rooms, worked there several times, a bit slow on the out due the lift, but a descent venue nontheless. Stuart Fletcher - Yeah, it's been closed a couple of years now after a fire on the roof in the plant room. The council are deciding what to do with it but it's looking like it'll be demolished sadly. Robert Harrison - Yes I had heard that it would no longer be used as a venue. Sad really. Quite a historic building I believe. What venues ya got in Derby now then ? Stuart Fletcher - Not many that size. We have the Hairy Dog which hosts a lot of punk gigs, the new velodrome puts a few gigs on like the Happy Mondays, and a place called the Venue which hosts bands mainly from the 90's. If we want to see the big bands it's a trip to R… See more .. Yes, it was the April I think Derek. The gig was rearranged because Topper had injured his thumb just before the original date. If you were fortunate enough to see them where and when did you see The Clash? Tony Diaz I was at that show (21/9) and picked up a piece of the bass from the stage. What a great show that was! The Cramps and Bo Diddley were the opening acts! Lester Block Went to the first Clash show ever in the USA(think it was). February 1979 at The Palladium in NYC. David Hart 19th October 1981. I was there on the Monday. Tuesday tried to sneak in with a bloke from Leeds. Got caught . Johnny Green opened back door, tossed a coin - heads we got in, tails we f'd off. HEADS!! Backstage!! Norbert Teuchert They were in Rettel live in 1985 David Cook I remember when the who had the clash open in 1981 at the Pontiac Silverdome. the crowd was so hyped up ! when they open should I stay or should I go. the crowd said go. throwing stuff at them. that was completely wrong. .Tom Conte Sorry but that wasn't the REAL Clash. I saw the Strummer/Simenon Clash play at Stony Brook University on Long Island, NY. It was a good show & tight sounding band. But it weren't The Clash. That said, ya gotta love Strummer's blond 'do. Ronin - Hey, thanks for this collection. I was a Clash fan from the beginning. Amazingly, they played my hometown (Dayton, Ohio) during the Out Of Control tour and I was there. It was my first time seeing them. I thought the show was passionate. However, I also knew the passion they were trying to generate could backfire. I felt they were trying to recreate the glory days of 1977. But times had changed. The fans had changed. I still believed in them & the spirit they were trying to convey. Cut The Crap had not been released yet, but one magazine had said that when the new album came out, it would have to be "hard as iron" to make everyone believe again. Was Cut The Crap "hard as iron?" I got the first import copy that came into town & eagerly went home to play it. Some of the songs had all the elements. Others failed miserably. It was a sad moment because I knew the general public would reject it, which they did. The hardcore Clash fans would come away confused & disillusioned. But I didn't. I admired the way The Clash went out fighting. Sure, Cut The Crap was fragmented. But I'll always respect the way this band took a bruising last stand when the odds were against them. Thank you again for this reminder of what was & what could have been.

Ratoblanco Mezzetti Is it Bonds the end of the cycle...from westway to the world? Brenda Siegelman Bonds was brutally hot . The dressing room had no air conditioning either, no catered meal after sound check like the usual gig . It was too hot to eat there anyway . Physically , it took a toll . They were dehydrated . Mick had to take glucose tablets , I do not think anyone ate or slept well . 1 Ratoblanco Mezzetti Brenda Siegelman thanks a lot. Brenda Siegelman The Mogador , Paris residency was after Bonds, and the Brixton fair deal gig , I think the begining of the end was more when Joe went missing on the eve of the UK tour , May 1982. After that , sacking Topper broke the unity and cohesiveness . Ratoblanco Mezzetti Do you think they have a strong vision of their musical direction like in 1976,or 1979..in 1981? Brenda Siegelman They were brimming with ideas and creativity all through 1981 . They drew on influences of everything they heard , everywhere so , maybe it was a wider , less focused vision . 1 Ratoblanco Mezzetti I'm sure that joe was musical stimulate by playing with Mick and Topper than Young musician that he felt was under him 1 Ratoblanco Mezzetti how is it possible that a great brain like Bernie undestimated these kind of human dinamics??? Jeff Lindholm Brenda Siegelman, yep, I remember the crazy heat at Bonds. My friend Rudie and I were right up front against the stage by Joe's mike stand on Saturday afternoon. Rudie was in front of me and said he could feel the sweat flying off Joe. Oddly enough, he seems to have enjoyed that! 2 Brenda Siegelman Bernie did not care about them as people . He thought aggravation and conflict made them a better band . He knew how to work on rubbing salt into wounds . Brenda Siegelman Jeff Lindholm as long as they were still sweating , they were hydrated , when they ran out of sweat , it was trouble . Jeff Lindholm We didn't notice any drops of blood that afternoon, but they looked beat at the end. Ratoblanco Mezzetti Brenda Siegelman but he works for the end of the musical conflict…. Ratoblanco Mezzetti all this dinamics are the same in all the bands. All the band are agains the manager and here you can find unity Ratoblanco Mezzetti all the members are in conflict Ratoblanco Mezzetti management have to live in this kind of artistic balance Brenda Siegelman no , Ratoblanco , in my opinion ,Bernie was cruel and he because helped form the band , and thought he had the right to do anything he wanted , including destroying them 1 Brenda Siegelman and The Clash were no ordinary band . 1 Ratoblanco Mezzetti Brenda Siegelman joe told me " he wants to be mick jones" Brenda Siegelman too bad for him , RM , he hasn't Mick's talent , humor or sweet soul . 2 Ratoblanco Mezzetti thanks for your answers and passion 1 El Marko Ecaen Chicago Aragon Ballroom 1979, 1982 & 1984 3 Tuija Hart first time Ruisrock in Finland 1979 (and the fuckers have used my pic without a credit!)
