Notable performances include The Clash on May 14, 1980, as part of their 16 Tons Tour Europe, and Motörhead on March 3, 1980, during their Bomber Tour. Additionally, Elvis Costello and The Attractions performed at the venue on April 24, 1980, as part of their 1980 Europe Tour. The venue has also seen performances by other renowned artists such as Iggy Pop, Ramones, and King Crimson during the late 1970s and early 1980s. The rich history of concerts at Schwabinger Brau reflects its significance as a cultural hub for music enthusiasts.

What a great concert!

Stefan Lampertius

40 years ago to today (14 May 2020) I got to experience The Clash live in the #SchwabingerBräu.... What a great concert!

Thread beneath Stefan's post

Sophia Nejmirok All of them. My brother and I were ALSO there....

Elias Ellinger And I was there too!

Anatol Nitschke Powerful concert. And who of the Harthoferns shot his gas in the direction of the stage at the beginning?

Anatol Nitschke I’m not sure.... But there, there was some sort of brawl between Frankie and Joe strummer..... Do you know WHICH Franky I mean?

Anatol Nitschke Then we mean other Frankys. You mean the lipstick Franky, right? Luckily the one I mean is still alive....

Sophia Nejmirok Don't forget, Joe had warned him a few times before....

Frank Benedikt @ Anatol: "Skinhead Franky" just threw a Coke cup and burped on stage since Joe had already burped on the audience. Joe jumped off with his tele and pulled it over his skull... ;-( By the way. : "Harthofer" were not on site at all (except for one or two exceptions).

Stefan Lampertius Strummer not only "warned" but - in his own way - also provoked. praise for his 'balls', but no praise for his brain! Franky as a 'country bitch' probably thought this was just going to be a funny 'trick'...

Did you go? What do you remember?
