PNE - Pacific National Exhibition BC Canada
The Pacific Coliseum, also known as "The Coliseum" or the "Rink on Renfrew," is a large indoor arena located at Hastings Park in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Completed in 1968, it has been home to several ice hockey teams, including the Vancouver Canucks (NHL) from 1970 to 1995, and the Vancouver Giants (WHL) from 2001 to 2016. The Coliseum can accommodate 15,713 in permanent seating, with provision for 2,000 temporary seats on the floor for concerts and spectator sports. It offers 80,000 gross square feet of exhibition area on the floor and 47,000 gross square feet on the upper level.
The venue has hosted a variety of events, from ice shows and boxing to concerts and trade shows. It was also an official venue for Short Track Speed Skating and Figure Skating during the 2010 Winter Olympics 1, 2.
The crowd overran the security
I honestly don’t remember much but I recall the crowd pushing forward against the security and one of the Clash saying “C’mon, they can’t hold you all back”. The crowd overran the security and as the 3 frontline Clash mates played on the edge of the stage, the rest of the stage filled with 50+ dancing fans. It was controlled chaos. ...

I saw The Clash at Bonds - excellent
Facebook page - The Clash played a series of 17 concerts at Bond's Casino in New York City in May and June of 1981 in support of their album Sandinista!.
