Give Em Enough Dope CD
The CD combines 3 EPs released from May 1984, all with great sound including the best version of the unreleased In the Pouring Rain. Clash 84 were a great live band and this is some of the best of their live performances.

I helped promote the gig
I helped promote the Clash Mark 2 gig at the Mac Court U of O on May 29nd 1984. I was working and photographing the show.
At a few points, Ray, Joe's body guard busts me even though I am working. One time was for interviewing Vince and asking him why it took two guitarists to replace one which he obviously got offended by and made me erase part of my tape.
I tried to get Joe to do a radio id, but he wasn't havent much luck with it. Before the show I was walking in the basement of the basketball court and there was Joe's guitar left alone by an outside door which tempted me but I knew better, I then walked around the corner to the mens's loos (there was no stalls just toilets on the floor, and Joe was craping, mohawk and all, I was very tempted to take a photo and run but I knew better as well.
The concert lost us a bundle of money as we had around 2500 people come to a 8500 sit place.

McArthur Court, University of Oregon
McArthur Court, affectionately known as "Mac Court," was a historic basketball arena located on the University of Oregon campus in Eugene. Opened in December 1926, it served as the home court for the Oregon Ducks men's and women's basketball teams until 2011, when it was replaced by Matthew Knight Arena. The arena was named after Clifton N. "Pat" McArthur, a 1901 alum and the university's first student-body president.
With an original seating capacity of 6,000, which later expanded to 9,087, McArthur Court was known for its distinctive atmosphere and was often referred to as "The Pit" due to its sunken playing floor and the raucous energy of the fans. The venue was the second-oldest on-campus gym in the country and witnessed numerous memorable games, including the first-ever NCAA Championship won by the University of Oregon men's basketball team in 1939.
Beyond sports, McArthur Court hosted a variety of events, including concerts by notable artists such as The Clash, Bob Dylan, and The Grateful Dead. The arena's design featured contributions from the architectural firm Lawrence & Holford, and it underwent several renovations and expansions throughout its history to accommodate the growing popularity of basketball and other events.
