Palmer Auditorium, Davenport, IA
Palmer Auditorium is located at 1000 Brady St., Davenport, IA. It was an indoor arena with a seating capacity of 4,500 1, 13.
The venue was known for hosting a variety of events, including concerts and wrestling matches 2, 11. Many people will remember Palmer's Alumni Auditorium for the great concerts that took place over the years.
The auditorium was open from 1970 to 2015 and was also known as Palmer Alumni Auditorium and Palmer College Alumni Arena 2. During 2019, the building was torn down to its steel support beams and rebuilt as the R. Richard Bittner Athletic & Recreation Center 17. The site is part of the Palmer College of Chiropractic campus 18.

CBix - It is in fact the same venue as Palmer Auditorium in Davenport, IA under a new name. And yes, the Clash appeared there. I was there. I could not see any way to edit the location of this venue.

Film: 'The Rise and Fall of The Clash' features archival footage and new interviews to tell the story of the band's final days. The four primary members of the band - Jones, Joe Strummer, Paul Simonen and Topper Headon tell their sides of the story as do Nick Sheppard and Vince White, both of whom replaced Jones, and original drummer Terry Chimes, who returned to replace Headon in 1982.

I saw The Clash at Bonds - excellent
Facebook page - The Clash played a series of 17 concerts at Bond's Casino in New York City in May and June of 1981 in support of their album Sandinista!.
