distant - Sound 3 - 1hr 28mins - very low - 25 tracks -

Sound quality is decent 3/5. Clean but thin distant. Certainly better than the Grand Circus Park show from `82. The band is on fire, despite the loss of Mick & Topper.

I was there. I was a stage hand working for the Fox Theatre. Cellar Door presents

I remember TV sets on scaffoldings. They said if it looks right. Its wrong so they were all askew. The road crew had Mohawks. The Video guy ( who vaguely resembled the singer for Journey with his long black locks) was offered $1000 to by the crew to get a mohawk. They spread it out in front of him like a fan. He refused.

Film: 'The Rise and Fall of The Clash'

features archival footage and new interviews to tell the story of the band's final days. The four primary members of the band - Jones, Joe Strummer, Paul Simonen and Topper Headon tell their sides of the story as do Nick Sheppard and Vince White, both of whom replaced Jones, and original drummer Terry Chimes, who returned to replace Headon in 1982.

I saw The Clash at Bonds - excellent
Facebook page - The Clash played a series of 17 concerts at Bond's Casino in New York City in May and June of 1981 in support of their album Sandinista!.
