Sound quality
A poor recording that may have suffered through copying. Runs too quick. Distant with slight noise and some copy blurring problems. Still an ok listen, bright, particulalry the vocals and the lead and drums are clearish.
The sound goes thinner, clearer from Complete Control onwards. The back half is spoilt by the taper, or someone close working out how much dope they have left.
A slighly lower gen source for this would produce a good tape. Link to Satch's

The Township, Columbia SC
The Township Auditorium, located at 1703 Taylor Street in Columbia, South Carolina, is a historic venue. Built in 1930, this three-story brick building is designed in the Georgian Revival style, featuring a Doric order columned portico 1. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 28, 2005 1.
The Township Auditorium has been a significant site for various events, including concerts by renowned musicians such as James Brown, Pink Floyd, Bruce Springsteen, The Jacksons, and more contemporary acts like Rise Against the Machine and The Clash 1. It has also been a platform for local South Carolina musicians like Swingin' Medallions, Rob Thomas, Jeezy, Band of Horses, and Needtobreathe 1.
The venue has undergone renovations to maintain its historical significance while also modernizing its facilities. One such renovation expanded the venue's facade by an additional 25 feet, creating a three-story front 3. The auditorium has been praised for its architecture, acoustics, and sightlines since its inception and continues to host a wide range of events, from graduations and dance recitals to concerts and inaugural galas 4.
The Township Auditorium is owned and operated by Richland County, with Aundrai Holloman serving as the Executive Director 1. It continues to be a central part of Columbia's cultural scene, hosting a variety of events and performances that draw crowds from across the region 23.

I saw The Clash at Bonds - excellent
Facebook page - The Clash played a series of 17 concerts at Bond's Casino in New York City in May and June of 1981 in support of their album Sandinista!.
