The scheduled broadcast of the Clash on the 8th October did not happen?
Believe this was to be recorded just prior to an appearance in Mainz though it's not clear if it was broadcast. The Clash certainly did not appear on teh scheduled programme Musikladen 35. The video for that is here broadcast in the 8 October 1977.
The opening credits of Musikladen #34 icnlude the Clash but there is no sign on the video of them playing. Record Mirror below states that they shared a backstage with the bands of the #34 (18 seconds into the credits).
Musikladen TV Show
The German translation of the show was: The Music Shop. It was a West German music television programme that ran from 13 December 1972 to 29 November 1984 and was produced by Radio Bremen and directed by Michael Leckebusch.
The show was recorded at the Musikladen studio in Bremen, Germany. The studio was a small, intimate venue that was located in a former warehouse in Bremen with excellent acoustics and its state-of-the-art recording equipment.
The show continued the 1960s Beat-Club under a new name, and in turn was replaced by Extra-Tour. As stated, 90 episodes were aired. It was a popular venue for live music performances, and it hosted many famous artists in the 1970s and 1980s, including David Bowie, Iggy Pop, and The Ramones. The studio was closed in 1990, and it is now used as a storage facility.
All episodes were produced by Radio Bremen and directed by Michael Leckebusch. A normal episode of the show, usually featured several live performances by guest musicians, and ran around 45 minutes. Some episodes were longer, and a few were shorter. In the 1980s, music videos were shown along with live performances.
Correct date
MoMa from Hamburg tells us that Bravo Disco took place on the 21st September and was published in Bravo teen magazine on the 29th September 1977.
"The Clash played at a Bravo Disco concert. Headliners were Rosetta Stone (with ex-BCR member Ian Mitchell). Also on the bill were Schlager singer Elke Best, who was about to marry a gangster and pimp, and comedy singer Frank Zander. The Bellamy Brothers made a surprise appearance for a couple of songs. So a very punk affair."
In an interview with Swiss No Fun magazine Joe Strummer talks about the concert and the appearance on Musikladen TV show.
Rosetta Stone were a Northern Irish pop rock band from Downpatrick, Northern Ireland, which included the ex-guitarist of the Bay City Rollers, Ian Mitchell. In early 1976, Mitchell left the Young City Stars to join the Bay City Rollers. Mitchell would return later that year as the group, now managed by Rollers manager Tam Paton, changed their name to Rosetta Stone.
[NFF] "Have you been on Tour in Germany with Bravo [M.G. Youth magazine]?
Joe Strummer, "[Yes], I really didn't know whats going on. There were only 10 to 15 aged Bay City Roller Fans in the hall. There were guys at the show, we never have heard about them before - we were convulsed with laughter.
They played playback (mimed) only making their futzing moves - and the kids were already screaming. We did play some titles live - we were completely misplaced and fucked off. It was similar in this TV-Show "Musikladen" ?
Yes, we had to play playback. But we have never made that before and we will never do it. We are musicians not comedians. Then they left us waiting in a room for 2 hours, it was not something we can abide. Ok, we smashed a lamp and some cans were lieing around. Afterwards it was said we smashed the studio. But beside that we had a lot of fun in Germany?"
Musikladen was broadast on the 8th October.

Reading some german articles from that time the MUSIKLADEN performance must have been some days before the BRAVO-DISCO(not 6.10 or 8.10.)
