In this book, there is an update of publications missed from (and published since) 'No Input No Output' and 'Late News Breaking' and a vast collection of newspaper headlines/articles from around the world from 1976 to date on The Clash plus B.A.D/Havana 3 am/The Mescaleros etc. Some press reports may make you smile, like the reporter who admitted when he was put through to Mick Jones at the Sunset Marquis Hotel, West Hollywood for an interview, that it was not the Mick Jones he had been seeking, but Mick Jones of Foreigner or the Irvine Herald reporting in 1982 that one of the support acts at a recent Clash gig was 'a magician who did a disappearing act after being spat on and jeered by impatient fans.' Also, news from far flung places including: Joe Strummer's Japanese Red Sun flag patterned shirt causing controversy on the 1982 Japanese Tour to when The Tallahassee Democrat carried the headline in June 1982: "Has Clash punk lost its spunk." Plus all the great reviews when the band was at its height from Maine's The Bangor Daily News headline 'Put plainly, London Calling is one of rock's best double albums - ever' to The News, North Jersey reviewing three nights at Asbury Park with the headline: "The Clash triumph in Jersey concert."
