Sold at Auction: A set of 21 photos, taken at The Clash/The Slits concert at Friars Aylesbury, 22nd December 1978. By the time of their third appearance at Friars Aylesbury in 1982 (their previous two shows being in 1978), demand for Clash tickets was so high that the venue was upgraded to the nearby Stoke Mandeville Stadium.

The flag behind Topper does say ‘unprovoked retaliation’ - that’s the first proof I’ve seen since I first saw it on the Sort It Out tour 20 December 1978 in Wolverhampton. I knew it was there - just couldn’t find any images. Thank you - Tim Watts
