Audio recording 1 Video recording Video recording Audio recording 2 Audio recording 3 TV and Radio Broadcasts Recorded partially by the BBC, contractural arrangements meant the cameras and sound didn't roll until White Man and ended after 1969. Whether the beeb lifted the whole audio remains unknown. Several songs have been broadcast and subsequently re-broadcast on radio. I Fought the Law, White Man and Bankrobber, Londons Burning, Get Down Moses & Johnney Appleseed. On video, Get Down Moses was broadcast with I Fought the Law on BBCTV 4 along with an interview segment. There are two interview segues. One doen for TV, one for radio and they are different. Two audience recordings There are two audience sources. Both are very good. The first and popular is full untill Bankrobber where it cuts off. Some versions may have a poorer version dubbed on. The second is better but half the songs have drop outs and loose bits. It lasts 74 minutes. Audience DVD There is an audience DVD which has the first 7 tracks on it. And there is a funny story behind this one involving the old ale! Its shot from side stage. The sound on it is poor. An hour and a quarter in front of 15,000 fans packed in the tent out of the torrential rain. The bands slot 10.15pm. Joe had had enough at the end of the first encore but the fans kept shouting. Tired and back off to the trailer, someone suggested he go back on! Did you go? What do you remember? |
