Another not bad sound from this tour. Better than Dublin/brixton, nearly as good as Sheffield/Liverpool.

London Calling is edited at the start as the taper arrives late and moves to the front of the audience by the end of the second song. Similarly the taper moves to the back for the encores and sound quality drops a bit.

Probably the most energetic gig of the mini-tour, all the songs carry more energy in what is a dingy (small nightclub/bar) basement venue. Joe has serious problems with the stage which is only 12 inches above the dance floor. By about the sixth song the band breaks off while joe gets all the flight cases on stage for the band to stand on. Intermittingly Joe moves backwards to the drum riser from his flight case.

The fun of such a gig is not lost as the crowd who are very enthusiastic, but yet dont distract from the recording.

Apart from Sheffield every gig had a surprise number and here it is a solo, then with piano accompanyment Junco Partner. A track absent elsewhere on this tour.
