Short Summer Rock Art US Tour Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros
I also have with a better picture quality: A VCD version (64mins) exists with slightly better sound. All video versions seem to be from the same copied source.
An audio lift from the Italian broadcast which is very flat and mono. There is also some slight digital problems on it.
Did you go? Comments, info welcome...
Pomini, A. "Joe Strummer: Da qui all’eternità." Rumore (Italian), no. 148, Oct. 2003, pp. 34–37. 4 pages, translated edition. Joe Strummer: FROM HERE TO ETERNITY — A Joe Strummer tribute featuring Lars Frederiksen (Rancid) on his humility, Omar Rodriguez/Cedric Bixler (The Mars Volta) on punk-dub fusion, and Billy Bragg’s iconic eulogy linking protest. — Strummer's impact from The Clash's genre-defying albums (London Calling, Sandinista!) to posthumous release Streetcore with The Mescaleros. — 2003 Independent Days Festival tribute, including fan-curated Joe Strummer Corner and benefit for Strummerville foundation. — Contrasts genuine influence (Radio Birdman's Deniz Tek) with awkward Ataris interview about "selling out" to Sony. — Ends with Bragg: “He dragged thousands of us into the streets... He made me cut my hair.”
